Let's Talk: Cannabis Dispensaries in our Community

On July 23rd members of the community joined panelists Sarah Chotkowski from Nantucket Cottage Hospital, Nicole Campbell from The Green Lady, Tess de Alberdi from Fairwinds, Aline Wommack from Addiction Solutions and Sue Mynttinen from ASAP to talk about the pros and cons of having a marijuana dispensary on Nantucket.

One unified message was repeated during the discussion and agreed upon by all the panelists: no one under the age of 21 should be using or have access to cannabis or cannabis infused products (edibles).

Future discussions are planned as the community raises questions and the dispensaries open for business.
